Music is the Greatest Healer

A few years ago, I heard the statement that music was the greatest healer of all.

Now, back in my early days, as a hypnotherapist and new entrepreneur (before I had heard this statement), someone had shared their love of frequency music for focus.

This was also the early years for YouTube, which had some available focus music tracks!

I fell in love with it because it was a huge benefit to me on days when I was deep into learning to manage my own websites, marketing, accounting, and all things related to my new entrepreneurial life.

In fact, I am listening to a track (which I'll share below) as I write this email!

So, hearing this statement about music being the greatest healer of all led me down a path of research to learn how to apply it to my own life and the lives of those I love and serve, in as many ways as possible.

In 2012, I created a meditation series called Cellular Wisdom. It is a unique type of meditation based on the therapeutic value of facilitating my primary go-to modality, Cellular Release Therapy.

Cellular Release Therapy is based on releasing trauma, limiting beliefs, and root causes of various difficulties FROM the cellular level. So, I wanted to create a series that spoke TO the cells in an affirming way.

I connected with a very cool music producer here in Denver, Andrew Harris, who engineered custom music for me, inspired by the work of the mathematician and philosopher Pythagoras.

Pythagoras and his followers believed that mathematics is a sacred language used to connect with the Divine.

One of the tracks he created is what I'm listening to as I type.

Now, if you've listened to any of my meditations and hypnosis sessions over the years, the track above will likely sound familiar. This is one of my go-to tracks for background music when I edit my sessions for replay.

It is one that I send to clients who enjoy background music for our individual sessions, for their prayer and meditation, or, like me, for focus.

As for the other ways that music and sound heal, support, and uplift you, here's a list of the avenues I've researched, experienced, and felt the benefits of:

  • Frequency Music (any topic)
  • Subliminal Music Tracks (any topic)
  • Golden Ratio Frequency (Universal flow)
  • Sound Baths (best live)
  • Drum Circles (Great live and when cleaning, lol)
  • Tuning Forks (for healing work)
  • Binaural Beats (brain balancing with headphones)
  • Isochronic Tones (brain balancing without headphones)
  • Affirmation Music (New-ish and awesome!)
  • Dance Music (A definite favorite)
  • Live Music (The best of them all)

I could write a paragraph on each one, but I'll just encourage you to keep this list somewhere to play with on your own journey.

We can all use some good vibes almost every day. So, hopefully, this will give you some inspiration to fill your self-care toolbox.

And as always, if you have any questions or tracks you'd be willing to share, please comment below!
